The Cryptoqueen

Four SnapChat performance filters developed for Chicks on Speed to narrate the journey Cryptocurrency OneCoin Founder Ruja Ignatova The Founder of Cryptocurrency scam OneCoin and self-styled ‘CryptoQueen’, Ruja Ignatova, remains at large. She is currently facing a number of criminal charges, after being charged with fraud for her role in the scheme.

Since her disappearance in 2017, authorities have uncovered in excess of $1.5 billion in assets purportedly connected with Ignatova and the OneCoin scam.

I developed 4 different SnapChat filters in lensstudio to mirror the story arch for the rise and fall of the CryptoQueen. I then performed with them using Zoom as an interface to control the virtual backgrounds with as well as changing the masks.
