Nova Award Installation

– with Kin Associates –

Award installation within Lowe’s Head Quarters to showcase the work of the top 30 students from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. Taking reference from a 1995 Jeffrey Shaw piece entitled the ‘Golden Calf’, the installation plays with the idea of worship by superimposing images into blank space. An artist plinth is positioned within 4 suspended golden frames that contain a tablet which is set to camera view. Visitors can insert a wooden name tag that launches the student’s portfolio and superimposes it on to a virtual cube. The cube can be rotated to reveal more of the student’s work.

Visitors can navigate through content by turning a virtual cube
